Compare two directories and their subdirectories to verify they're identical.

DirCmp is a simple utility, absolutely free and not even requiring installation, which is run from the Windows command line (or MSDOS) and allows the user to compare two different directories and their subdirectories, if any.

The purpose of this comparison made by DirCmp is to try and find a difference between the contents of each one. If it finds any file or subdirectory that differs, then the file is specified in the resulting text report.

You can also specify parameters for DirCmp to just make the comparison with certain types of files and excludes others.
